Ryan Jackson

Ryan Jackson is a Te Aroha based dad who talks to farmers about grass for a living.

He doesn’t rate himself as an actor, but he is very good.

Ryan studied Film and Television at Victoria University in Wellington while he worked in the local film industry there.

Even after he left Wellington and changed careers, Ryan never stopped being creative, keeping his artistic side alive by way of his band Defekt and co-creating/directing and acting in the locally loved comedy web series Mount Doom.

Though family life crept up on him, Ryan still managed to write/direct and co-produce the supernatural/thriller From Shadow, that has won many awards around the world.

Ryan plays a stressed out father (the film wasn’t a big stretch for him).
