Jared Jones

Jared Jones is one of the rising stars in the NZ cinematography world.

Jared credits include Kiwi feature Brown Boys, award winning Micheal Hurst led short Worthy of Thee and Joe Daymond directed comedy central series Bouncers.

Jared has made The Tavern a treat for the eyes with his masterful cinematography.

In 2023 Jared won the Al Guildford Emerging cinematographer award at the Z Cine- matographers Society awards.

His other accolades include: Best Cinematography - Worthy of Thee (Paris International Film Festival 2022); Honourable Mention Cinematography - Mothering Sunday (London International Film Festival 2022); Nominated Best Cine- matography - Worthy of Thee (Clapperboard Golden Festival 2022); Best Director of Photography - Be Quiet (Taupo Halloween Film Festival 2021); 3rd place Best Cinematography - Be Quiet (ISHS Film Festval 2021); Nominated Best Cinematography - Mothering Sunday.
